You can easily reach Southwater Country Park by train. Although Christs Hospital is the nearest station, it's a very small rural station with limited public transport options. The best way to get to the park by train is to travel to Horsham Station and pick up the No 98 Metrobus to Southwater. This drops you at Cripplegate Lane directly opposite the main entrance on Station Road.
Escape to Southwater Country Park to enjoy acres of unspoilt countryside. Walk your way around the park, and make sure you find a shaded spot to enjoy a picnic! Take an easy-going walk around the lake, follow the footprints to the Dinosaur Island play area, or visit The Quarry, a natural conservation area home to lizards, kingfishers, and butterflies.
