The nearest train station to the Ruislip Lido Railway is West Ruislip, which is on the main line to and from London Marylebone, where trains depart every 30 minutes. You can also travel to West Ruislip Underground Station which is on the Central line, or, Ruislip Underground Station which in on the Piccadilly and Metropolitan lines.
Buses run frequently, 7 days a week and take as little as 9 minutes to reach the Lido. Alternatively, you can walk to the railway in approximately 40 minutes.

About Ruislip Lido Railway
The Ruislip Lido Railway is the UK's longest 12" gauge railway and travels around the Ruislip Lido in North West London. A two and a half mile round trip through ancient woods, along the beaches and waters edge of the lido itself. The service is often run using diesel locomotives and on Sunday's throughout the summer and Bank Holidays you may board the steam train "Mad Bess" a half-scale version of a train called "Blanche" from the Ffestiniog Railway in Wales.
