Lyme sits in a 1,400-acre estate on the edge of the Peak District with a medieval herd of red deer and boasts some truly fantastic walks and stunning views. Its imposing house may look familiar as well, having featured in TV's Pride and Prejudice as Pemberley, home to Mr. Fitzwilliam Darcy
Getting there by train is relatively easy as the nearest station Disley is just 1/2 mile from the main entrance to the park itself. The House & Garden is a further one mile from the main gate and visitors can jump on a free shuttle bus service which is available from The Admissions Hut, 7 days a week from 11 am to 4.30 pm
