It's easy to reach Lancaster Castle by rail. Hop on a train to Lancaster station, which is served by Avanti West Coast, TransPennine Express and Northern services from Manchester, London and Edinburgh. From Lancaster it's just a 6-minute walk to Lancaster Castle. Simply exit the station, take the stairs and turn left onto Meeting House Lane. Walk east, turning right when you hit Castle Hill. Head up Castle Hill and you'll find Lancaster Castle!
