Visit HMS Belfast a Town-class light cruiser that was built for the Royal Navy in 1938 in the heart of London on the River Thames. Firing some of the first shots during the D-Day landings and seeing action in protecting convoys in the Arctic and later in the Koren War, there's quite a story to be told onboard.
Getting there by train is also easy, just hop off at London Bridge and head down towards the river. You can't miss this formidable ship moored just down from Hays Galleria with Tower Bridge sitting in the background. If you're already in London, the nearest tube station is also London Bridge (Jubilee and Northern lines) on the south side of the river, over Tower Hill (DLR, Circle, and District lines)on the north bank.
