You'll find Head of Steam jam-packed with a fascinating historic collection celebrating the town that became known as the birthplace of the railways. Explore their original 1840’s railway station where time has literally stood still for over one hundred and fifty years. You'll also be able to get up close to four historic locomotives including the star attraction, Stephenson’s Locomotion No.1, on loan from the national collection managed by the National Railway Museum.
