The nearest station to Deal Castle is Deal, which is just half a mile away and is served by trains to and from Whitstable, London St Pancras and London Charing Cross – trains from the capital take between an hour and a half and two hours. The castle is easily walkable from the station, and should take around ten minutes. Alternatively, several buses run from just outside the station direct to Deal Castle.
