You can easily reach Blackpool Zoo by train. The nearest station to Blackpool Zoo is Layton (Lancs), which is served by Northern services throughout the day. It takes around 37 minutes to walk from the station to the zoo, simply head south down the A587 and you'll eventually hit Salisbury Woodland, where you can enter the zoo. If you don't fancy walking, stay on the train for one more stop to Blackpool North; from there, catch the number 2 bus to Victoria Hospital, which is next to the zoo.
