Travelling by train to the Bannockburn Heritage Centre is super-simple. The nearest railway station to the Bannockburn Heritage Centre is Stirling, which is served by Scotrail and LNER services throughout the day.
Its 2 miles and around 45 minutes to Bannockburn Heritage Centre from the station. As you exit the station turn right towards Goosecroft Road at the roundabout, take the 1st exit and stay on Goosecroft Road. At the next roundabout, take the 3rd exit onto Burghmuir Road. After 1.1 miles you'll see a roundabout, take the 3rd exit onto Glasgow Road. Then take the 3rd right onto 6 Fairhill Road and Bannockburn Heritage Centre will be on your left.
If you don't fancy the walk, you can catch a bus from the station - look for Bus Stop E, you want the number 51 service to Milton Brae, it's just a 3-minute walk from there.
While the Visitor Centre and Battle of Bannockburn experience will be closed until further notice, you can still enjoy this historic site. The grounds will be open to the public, and you can still visit the Robert the Bruce statue and impressive Bannockburn monument.
