Frecciarossa trains are Trenitalia's flagship high-speed trains, capable of reaching speeds of up to 186 mph (300 km/h). This train leaves Pompei at 6:40pm and arrives in Rome at 8:55pm, before carrying on to Florence where it arrives at 10:58pm. This service will be a high-speed service run by Trenitalia, so you’ll be traveling on a Frecciarossa train.
There will also be a direct train from Rome to Pompei on every Sunday morning. It will leave Roma Termini at 8:53am and arrive in Pompei at 10:40am.
