The train from Glasgow to Luton will take you through the heart of England, past some wonderful scenery along the way. Trains from Glasgow to Luton first start with an Avanti West Coast (formerly Virgin Trains) train from Glasgow Central to London Euston, where you'll need to make a quick trip over to London St Pancras International via the London Underground. From there, a Thameslink service will take you on to Luton. All Avanti West Coast (formerly Virgin Trains) have a buffet car called The Foodbar, usually located either in coach J or H, where you can purchase hot and cold food and drink throughout the day. On most journeys, you can also enjoy a full drinks menu and trolley service. If you travel in First Class, food and drink are complimentary but subject to availability. Travelling by train from Glasgow to Luton gives you plenty of opportunities to see some fantastic scenery. Try to bag a window seat for the journey through the Scottish Lowlands and into the Lake District for some particularly amazing views. With stops including Lancaster, Preston and Wigan, you’ll leave the industrial north and travel through the Midlands and on to London from there, passing Coventry, Birmingham and Milton Keynes along the way. Pulling into London Euston, it’s a one-stop journey on the Underground to St Pancras International, where you can catch your connecting train to Luton.
