As there’s no direct train from Florence to Lake Como, you’ll need to change trains. If you want to reach your destination in the quickest way possible, we recommend you first take a high-speed Frecciarossa or Italo train from Florence to Milan and then a regional train from Milan to Como.
After arriving at Como San Giovanni train station, hop on a local bus to reach one of the quaint little villages surrounding the lake.
