Wrexham Central train station is one of two stations within the town of Wrexham. It is the smaller of the two stations and offers daily services to locations including Shotton and Bidston. The current station was opened in 1998 after the previous station was closed and replaced by a shopping centre. The station is the final terminal on the Borderlands Line; it follows Wrexham General station. All services and operations at Wrexham Central are managed by Arriva Trains Wales.
