Trains to Watlington

Watlington Railway Station serves the village of Watlington in Norfolk with regular Great Northern services on the Fen Line. Great Northern trains from Watlington typically run hourly between Kings Cross (from platform 1) and King’s Lynn (from platform 2). In off-peak hours, these services run non-stop between London and Cambridge. In peak periods, Greater Anglia operates additional services to London Liverpool Street.  

Watlington’s original station buildings still stand but are in private use today. However, the station signal box, located on the London-bound platform 1, is still in active use. Facilities at Watlington Station include cycle storage units and self-service ticketing machines from which the full range of fares may be purchased or collected. The self-service machines are located on platform 1 (for London). Basic waiting shelters with seating are provided for passenger comfort on both platforms, along with help points and payphones. There is step-free access to both platforms, and platform interchange is via level crossing.
