Trains to Stratford International

Stratford International is the main station for the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, the main venue the London 2012 Olympics and now a focus for the regeneration of this area of east London. It's a mix of parkland, waterways, homes, education and sports venues, and is also home to the iconic ArcelorMittal Orbit, the UK's tallest sculpture. The station is also right next to Westfield Stratford City, home to over 300 stores, 50 restaurants, a 17-screen cinema, the UK's biggest casino and two hotels.

Stratford International opened in 2009 on the High Speed 1 line between London St Pancras International and Kent which is operated by Southeastern trains. With high speeds of up to 140 mph using the modern Javelin trains, this line provides a highly convenient commuter service from Kent to the city of London.

There are usually four trains per hour into St Pancras, taking just seven minutes, and four trains eastbound serving destinations including Ebbsfleet International, Faversham, Margate, Dover Priory and Ashford International. The Docklands Light Railway (DLR) station is two minutes' walk away and connects passengers with Stratford station for London Underground, London Overground and mainline services.
