Trains to Saundersfoot

Saundersfoot railway station is used by the little coastal town of Saundersfoot in South West Wales. It’s a request stop with a single platform that serves around 8,000 annual passengers. It’s unmanned with no ticket office or self-service machines, so passengers are required to buy them in advance or on board the train with the conductor. Facilities are very sparse here with little more than a brick waiting shelter, one bench and a timetable poster. It’s also located around a mile from the town centre, so booking a taxi in advance is recommended if you are bringing luggage. The station is managed by Arriva Trains Wales. There are direct trains to Pembroke Dock every two hours taking 52 minutes and Swansea in 1 hour 31 minutes.

When you step off at Saundersfoot, you’re within walking distance of the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park with its mile upon mile of gorgeous beaches, coastal walking trails and secluded coves as well as plenty of adrenaline-inducing water sports.
