Trains to Preston Park

Situated on the Brighton Main Line, 49 miles south of London Victoria, Preston Park train station serves the village of Preston and the northern suburbs of Brighton. A spur line from this station through a tunnel allows services to continue to Hove and on to Littlehampton using the West Sussex Coast Line. Train services at this station are provided by Southern and Thameslink at a frequency of three per hour. Southern operates trains between London Victoria and Littlehampton, and Thameslink provides trains between Bedford via London Blackfriars and Brighton. Preston Park itself is one of Brighton’s largest parks and hosts the annual Gay Pride Festival at the end of the parade and the start line of the Brighton Marathon. Preston Park train station consists of 3 platforms linked by a subway with steps leading to each platform. There is no step-free access to the platforms at this station. A staffed ticket office is located in the centre of platform 1 and 2. Connections to local bus services can be found on Preston Road.
