Trains to Portslade

Portslade train station is situated on the West Coastway Line, east of Brighton in East Sussex. The station is located on the western fringes of the village of Aldrington, also known as West Hove, and serves the town of Portslade-By-Sea. The train services at this station are provided by Southern. Typical Monday to Saturday off-peak services are five trains per hour in each direction. The main train services from this station run eastbound to Brighton and London Victoria or westbound to Portsmouth Harbour and Southampton Central. Journey times to Brighton and London Victoria are 9 minutes and 1 hour 10 minutes respectively.

Portslade train station consists of two platforms either side of the two running tracks. There is step free access to both platforms using a short shallow ramp and they are connected by a footbridge and a subway. Step free connection between the platforms can be made via the level crossing on Carlton Terrace at the western end of the platform. There is a staffed ticket office in the Ticket Hall just off platform 2 and staff are available for assistance. Carparks can be found behind each of the station buildings. Bus connections can be found on Portland Road just to the south of the station and on the B2194 which runs north to south across the level crossing.
