Penhelig train station is one of two stations serving the Welsh seaside resort of Aberdovey, or Aberdyfi. It is part of the scenic Cambrian Coast Railway which runs from Pwllheli on the Llŷn Peninsula to Dovey Junction, where it joins the main Cambrian Line to Shrewsbury. There are several bed and breakfast facilities near Penhelig train station. The main Aberdovey station is just 3 minutes along the line, near the beach and golf club.
