Unique with its pond roundabout, the only listed one of its kind in the UK, and St Batholomew's Grade 1 listed church dating back to 1175, Otford is a charming village that oozes traditional Kentish character. Its quaint high street stretches all the way from Otford's 1881 station, slightly north of its 1862 predecessor, all the way to the River Darnet, and is home to several traditional pubs and independent shops. The station is bordered to the south and east by vast areas of greenery and woodland, and Old Palace Field - a ten-minute walk from the station - is the ideal spot for walks and picnics.
The station runs a frequent stopping service to London Victoria, with trains taking around forty minutes, as well as to Kentish Town and Bedford from platform 1, and to Sevenoaks and Ashford International, with connections to the rest of Europe on Eurostar, from platform 2.
