Trains to Nutfield

Lying close to the line’s final terminus at Redhill, Nutfield Railway Station serves the village of Nutfield in Surrey with Southern trains operating on the Redhill to Tonbridge Line. In typical off-peak hours, trains from Nutfield operate once an hour eastbound for Tonbridge with intermediate stops at Godstone, Edenbridge, Penshurst, and Leigh, and westbound to the terminus at Redhill. Tonbridge-bound trains depart from platform 2, while Redhill-bound trains depart from platform 1. Passengers for onward travel on the Brighton Main Line should change at Redhill.  

Facilities at Nutfield Railway Station are basic and include a permit-to-travel machine, from which all passengers must obtain tickets before commencing travel (as Southern operates penalty fares). Train running information is provided on digital display screens on both platforms. Waiting shelters with seating are installed for customer comfort, and there is step-free access to the platforms from the station car park (for platform 1—Redhill) and North Station Approach (for platform 2—Tonbridge).
