Lochailort railway station is a request stop west of Fort William in the Scottish Highlands. This remote station sees only around 1700 passengers each year. Trains to Mallaig and Fort William run three times a day taking about 33 minutes and 53 minutes respectively. Trains run three times a day to Glasgow Queen Street, taking around four hours and 45 minutes. Three trains run to Oban.  

The tiny hamlet of Lochailort has an old pub, church and post office, and is a convenient base for exploring the Highlands or the Western Isles. Lochailort station is on the West Highland Line. Trains on this line cross the Glenfinnan Viaduct, made famous after it featured in the Harry Potter films.
