Loch Awe railway station is a small single-platform station on the north shore of Loch Awe in the Scottish Highlands. The station is a stop on the West Highland Line, which departs Glasgow for Oban and Mallaig. Passing through the Loch Lomond and Trossachs National Park, the journey is said to be one of the world's best journeys by train for scenery and views. From Loch Awe station, each day six trains connect with Glasgow and seven run to Oban.
Next to the station is the tiny village of Loch Awe. In the surrounding area, there are several ruined castles worth exploring, and it is possible to hire a motorboat to take out on the Loch.
