Trains to Llandrindod

Llandrindod Railway Station serves the spa town of Llandrindod Wells with regular trains throughout Wales. The station and all trains serving it are operated by Arriva Trains Wales. Five trains from Llandrindod operate in each direction daily throughout the week with a sharp reduction to only two trains on Sunday. The four regular trains run southbound to Swansea and northbound to Shrewsbury; the remaining train operates in morning peak periods from Shrewsbury to Llandrindod before returning to Crewe.  

One of the Heart of Wales Line’s busiest stations, Llandrindod boasts the only staffed booking hall on the line. The office is open from start of service until mid-afternoon during the week and is located within the main building. As there are no other on-site ticketing provisions, passengers wishing to travel outside staffed hours should purchase their tickets on the train after boarding. Facilities include covered waiting rooms with bench seating, canopies outdoors, and customer help points. Train running information is provided on digital display screens and timetable poster boards. There is step-free access and interchange to both platforms.
