Trains to Livingston South

One of two stations serving the modern town of Livingston, Livingston South train station sees regular service across West Lothian with ScotRail trains operating on the Shotts Line. Trains from Livingston South depart once an hour between Glasgow Central and Edinburgh Waverly, with one train daily from Edinburgh terminating and originating at Motherwell instead. A semi-fast service calls hourly as well. Sundays see limited service, with six trains a day in each direction. Westbound services for Glasgow depart platform 1, and eastbound services to Glasgow depart from platform 2.
