Trains to Letchworth Garden City

Letchworth Garden City train station first opened in 1903 and connects the world's first garden city to London's King's Cross station, the fastest service taking just 36 minutes. Rebuilt in 1912 the station was fashioned in an "arts and crafts" style, recognising this unique style the building is now Grade 2 listed. With regular services to both London and Cambridge with the combined lure of vast green spaces, a strong sense of community, and leisure facilities nearby Letchworth Garden City station is well-positioned to serve commuters. For example, Letchworth Garden City to Cambridge with Great Northern takes on average 31 minutes whilst services to Stevenage take just 10 minutes. 

With the station located in the heart of Letchworth within a few minutes, you can find yourself in the middle of the high street with ample shops, restaurants, and hotels to suit any budget. If you're looking to explore the history of Letchworth there are several museums nearby including the International Garden Cities Exhibition, the Community Museum, and the Spirella Building. The latter being a former corset factory that was restored in 1996 and is a popular wedding venue with a majestic ballroom and immaculately landscaped gardens. Little ones will enjoy a day out at Standalone Farm, a small working farm just on the other side of Letchworth Garden City from the station.
