Trains to Lea Green

Lying in St Helens, Merseyside, Lea Green Railway Station sees regular Northern trains operating on the Liverpool to Manchester Line. Although managed by Northern, the station is sponsored by Merseytravel and is branded as such. Northern trains from Lea Green operate every 30 minutes during the weekday to Liverpool Lime Street and, in the opposite direction, to Earlestown and thence to Manchester Victoria or Warrington Bank Quay. On Sundays, one train operates each hour to Liverpool Lime Street and Manchester Airport.

As is standard for Merseyrail stations, Lea Green Station is staffed during all opening hours and has a booking hall from which all tickets must be purchased. Shelters with bench seating are installed on both platforms, and train running information is provided via digital display screens and timetable poster boards. Payphones and customer help points are present for passenger use. There's step-free access to the platforms and booking office via ramps.
