King’s Park train station serves the King’s Park area of Glasgow with Abellio ScotRail service on the Newton branch of the Cathcart Circle Line. Trains to King’s Park arrive on a half-hourly basis throughout the week, including Sundays. These trains run northbound from platform 1 to Glasgow Central, and southbound to Newton from platform 2. Glasgow Central trains operate either via Crosshill or Shawlands.
Facilities at King’s Park train station include a set of bicycle storage units and a staffed ticket office. The ticket office is open from the start of service until early afternoon. At all other times, self-service ticket machines and a ScotRail smartcard validator are available for customer use. Train-running information is provided via digital departure screens and automated announcements over the station PA system. A waiting shelter with bench seating is installed at the centre of the island platform. There's no step-free access to the platform.
