Trains to Kilpatrick

Lying in West Dunbartonshire, Kilpatrick Railway Station serves the village of Old Kilpatrick with regular Abellio ScotRail service on the North Clyde Line and Argyle Line. Trains to Kilpatrick call half-hourly; during the week, westbound trains terminate at Dumbarton Central, and eastbound trains to Cumbernauld via Clydebank. On Sundays, half-hourly services call at Balloch and Glasgow Central with alternate services continuing to Motherwell via Whifflet and to Larkhall.

Train running information is provided via automated announcements. Both platforms have waiting shelters with seating and customer help points for passenger use. Step-free access is available to platform 2 via steep ramp; platform 1 is accessed via stairs only. Platform interchange is via stairs and footbridge. Access to the south platform (for westbound services) leads to the Lusset Glen, and a part of the station lies underneath the Erskine Bridge.
