Heysham Port train station is the final stop on the Morecambe Branch Line. Open since 1904 the station was given the name Heysham Harbour. In 1970 the station was moved and has since seen a closure and another name change. In 1992 it was given its current name. With one platform there are limited services from Heysham Port train station. One service arrives daily towards Morecambe and Lancaster. The journey time to Lancaster is around 28 minutes. The service to Morecambe is direct and the fastest journey time is 13 minutes. Facilities at the station are minimal there is not a ticket office or ticket machine available. The platform has a shelter for passengers awaiting their train service.
There is two entry points to the station: platform 1 entrance and Heysham Ferry Port entrance. Services and operations at the station are managed by Northern.
