Trains to Heswall

Arriva Trains Wales manage all operations and services at Heswall train station. Open since 1898 the station was originally named Heswall Hills to prevent any confusion with the other station in the town. From platform 2 there is an hourly service that stops at Heswall train station en route to Wrexham Central, this service is less frequent on Sundays. On platform 1 there are daily services to Bidston, with just one stop at Upton (Merseyside) station, the journey time for this route is approximately 15 minutes.  

This station does not have a ticket office or ticket machine. Facilities at the station include a car park free to any passengers travelling from Heswall station, Shelters on both platforms and information screen detailing arrival and departure information. A subway links the two platforms which are both accessible to wheelchair users. Entrance to the station is via a footpath from Brimstage Road.
