Trains to Heaton Chapel

Heaton Chapel railway station serves the Heaton Chapel and Heaton Moor districts of Stockport with regular Northern trains operating on the Crewe-Manchester Line, the Stafford-Manchester Line, the Buxton Line and the Mid-Cheshire Line. Five trains from Heaton Chapel operate per hour from Crewe, Chester, Hazel Grove, Stoke-on-Trent and Alderley Edge northbound for Manchester Piccadilly. Southbound services from Manchester Piccadilly return to each of these locations hourly as well. Additional Preston and Blackpool North services run in peak times, as do Crewe and Buxton services. During evenings and on Sundays, trains operate twice per hour to Manchester and once per hour to Crewe and Buxton.
