Garve railway station is located on the east edge of Loch Garve in North Scotland. This station lies on the Kyle of Lochalsh Line which is heralded as one of “Great train journeys of the world” by Michael Palin. The journey on this line takes you through the Scottish Highlands and boasts some of the most magnificent scenery the country has to offer. There are four trains a day which runs southeasterly towards Inverness and southwesterly toward Kyle of Lochalsh. On Sundays, there is only one service in each direction, with a second service added only during summer months.
There is no option to purchase tickets at the station, although railcards can be used at the electronic validators. Each platform has a shelter and seating, otherwise there are limited facilities at this station. Please be aware that this station has no step-free access and may be unsuitable for some disabled passengers.
