Trains to Fiskerton

Fiskerton train station was first opened in 1846, this station has two platforms and is just one stop away from Newark Castle. There is an hourly service to the town of Matlock available from Fiskerton station, the fastest journey time taking 1 hour and 32 minutes. En route to Matlock, the train stops at Nottingham station this journey can take as little as 20 minutes. The historic Newark Castle offers a great day out for families, with plenty to do including tours of the castle, exploring the gardens and enjoying the dungeons, from Fiskerton station Newark castle is a 10-minute journey away. 

With the station unmanned there is no ticket office available, and Fiskerton train station does not offer a ticket machine. Both platforms are accessible via ramps from Station Road. On Platform 1 there is a shelter available for passengers. East Midlands Trains manage all operations at this station.
