Opened in 1849 Farnborough North train station is one of two stations within Farnborough. This Hampshire town is well known for its connections to Aviation, Farnborough Airshow is a five-day event within the town that is known to bring people from far and wide. The station has two platforms and offers daily services to Reading and Redhill. From platform 2 you can head to the town of Reading off-peak these services arrive hourly, during peak periods this does increase. The fastest journey time for this route is 22 minutes. Farnborough North is the smaller of the two stations within the town. Facilities at the station include a car park, shelters on both platforms as well as outdoor seating. Farnborough North does not have a ticket office, but at the entrance to platform 2, there is a ticket machine available for passengers to buy and collect pre-purchased tickets.
