Falmouth Town train station is one of three stations within the town. Open in 1970, this station sits on the Maritime Line between Falmouth Docks and Penmere. You can head to the city of Truro from the station and arrive in 25 minutes, whilst Falmouth Docks is just a few minutes away via train. Since opening in 1970, the station has been known as Falmouth, The Dell and now its current name Falmouth Town. The central location of the station means that many of the town's attractions are nearby, including Falmouth’s waterfront which is just a five-minute walk away. Fox Rosehill Gardens is also just seven minutes on foot from the station.

Falmouth Town has one platform and a car park that is run by the local council. This station is unmanned, with no ticket office or ticket machines available. Access to the station is via a ramp from the station car park.
