Euxton Balshaw Lane train station is one of two stations within the village of Euxton, Lancashire. Sat in the Borough of Chorley, Euxton Balshaw Lane station is on the Preston to Liverpool Line whilst its fellow village station Buckshaw Parkway sits on the Manchester to Preston Line. Originally known as Balshaw Lane and Euxton until its closure in 1969, the current station was not officially reopened until nearly thirty years later in 1998. The station offers daily services to Preston, the fastest journey taking just 11 minutes. You can also reach Liverpool South Parkway with stops at Wigan North Western and Liverpool Lime Street in 1 hour and 15 minutes. 

The station's facilities are limited there is a free car park available to those travelling from Euxton Balshaw Lane, however, there is no ticket office or ticket machine available at this station. Northern manage all operations at Euxton Balshaw Lane station.
