Trains to Denham Golf Club

Denham Golf Club railway station has served the little communities of Denham and Baker’s Wood since it opened over a century ago. It was originally built to bring passengers to the nearby golf club. Today it lies along the Chiltern Main Line heading to Gerrards Cross and is managed along with the trains that pass through by Chiltern Railways. The original wooden shelters are Grade listed and protected. Unfortunately, the ticket office was destroyed in a 2005 fire, though it was faithfully restored two years later. On the station’s two platforms, facilities include overhead lighting, bench seating, and timetable posters. There is one service an hour to London Marylebone in 22 minutes.

It’s unthinkable to disembark and not visit the adjoining Denham Golf Course where you can tee off along the century-old fairway. You could also go hiking or cycling around the woodland in the Colne Valley Regional Park.
