Crofton Park station is on the Thameslink route to Sevenoaks, lying between Nunhead and Catford in Travelcard Zone 3. The area it serves is part of Brockley, a popular commuter area in the London Borough of Lewisham.
The station operates regular peak time services to Luton, Kentish Town and St Albans City from platform 1, and Orpington and Sevenoaks via Swanley from platform 2. A regular stopping service also runs to London St Pancras, taking around half an hour.
Crofton Park is largely a residential suburb, but it does offer some excellent places to eat and drink. The area boasts food from around the globe, from traditional pub grub to Malaysian, Indian and Italian cuisine, via jerk chicken and old-fashioned fish and chips. You'll also find an excellent pub just minutes away from the station - despite is beer-centric name, the London Beer Dispensary has a good range of ciders, whiskeys and wines as well as craft brews.
