Trains to Brunstane

Brunstane train station is located in the Edinburgh suburb of Brunstane, on the Edinburgh Crossrail line. There is a half hourly service from Brunstane on weekdays and Saturdays, reducing to hourly in the evenings and on Sundays. Trains from Brunstane station travel north to Edinburgh, with a fastest journey time of 6 minutes. Southbound trains travel to Tweedbank, with a fastest time of 47 minutes. The station itself opened in 2002. It has a single platform with step-free access and a waiting room and a ticket machine. Seats and cycle racks are also provided for passengers travelling from the station.   

The area immediately around Brunstane train station is mainly residential, though it is the nearest station to the Milton Road campus of the Edinburgh College, a short walk from the station. Brunstane lies on the A1 road, and Lothian Buses also provide several bus services for travel within the area.
