Braintree Freeport Station is located adjacent to the Braintree Freeport Designer Village shopping centre in Braintree, Essex. The station is served by Greater Anglia’s Braintree Branch Line which runs from Maldon to Witham. The station is located next to the Braintree shopping centre which is home to numerous shops and restaurants. It is also in walking distance of the Namco Funscape Amusement Centre.

Braintree Freeport is a one platform station with very basic facilities. There are accessible ticket machines at this station as well as bike storage. Parking is available but provided on behalf of the Shopping centre and therefore no long-term parking is available. Station is located at the west side of the shopping centre adjacent to the car park.
