Trains to Aughton Park

Set just below ground level in a cutting, Aughton Park Railway Station serves the village of Aughton, Lancashire. Located only 12 miles northeast of Liverpool, the station is currently managed by Merseyrail, who operate services through Aughton Park along their Northern Line. During the week, trains from Aughton Park operate every 15 minutes in both directions, northbound to the Ormskirk terminus and southbound to Liverpool Central. In evenings and on Sundays, trains operate every 30 minutes.

Like all Merseytravel stations, Aughton Park Station is staffed during the day from start of service until after the last train has departed the station. Both platforms have waiting shelters, and a payphone is available for passenger use on platform 1. Step-free access is not available at this station, and customers requiring wheelchair accessibility are advised to arrange travel from a different station.
