Trains to Atherstone

Located precisely 102 miles north of London Euston, Atherstone Railway Station links the town of Atherstone to wider Warwickshire and destinations beyond. West Midlands Trains operates all trains from Atherstone under the name London Northwestern Railway. Typical off-peak service includes trains in both directions once an hour, seven days a week; southbound trains terminate at London Euston via Nuneaton, Rugby, and Milton Keynes, and northbound at Crewe via Stafford and Stoke-on-Trent. On weekdays, southbound trains from Atherstone for London take the express train route via Weedon for an overall journey time of 82 minutes, although Sunday and select weekday services continue to serve Northampton via the loop link.

Atherstone Railway Station is currently unstaffed. The main station building is in business use, and has been Grade II listed since 1980. Both platforms have shelters and seating, and a carpark is located behind platform 2. Step-free access is available to both platforms via ramps. Tickets may be purchased and collected from the ticket machines at the station.
