Aston Railway Station is located on Lichfield Road in Aston, Birmingham. The station is served by West Midlands Railway’s Cross-City Line which runs from Redditch, Worcestershire to Lichfield, Staffordshire as well as the Chase Line which runs from Birmingham New Street to Rugeley, Staffordshire. The station is located a short walk away from ‘the Britannia Pub and Aston Café. It is also located a 15-minute walk away from Aston Park and Aston Park stadium which is the home stadium of Aston Villa Football Club.
Aston Station is a two-platform station with access to each platform being reached via a flight of stairs (lifts are also available) which are connected via an external footpath. The station is equipped with ticket machines as well as a ticket booth. Bus Stops are located outside the station on Lichfield Road.
