From Seville’s main train station

From Seville Santa Justa, take the C1 or C5 train south to Sevilla-Virgen del Rocio, then walk three-quarters of a mile to Estadio Benito Villamarín.

From Madrid

Madrid to Seville by train is very straight-forward: make your way to Madrid Atocha and head to Seville Santa Justa train station on a 2.5 to 3.5 hour journey. From Seville Santa Justa, take the C1 or C5 to Sevilla-Virgen del Rocio then walk to Estadio Benito Villamarín. 

From Barcelona

Barcelona to Seville by train requires hardly any effort beyond possibly swapping trains at Madrid Atocha. Barcelona Sants is your departure station; take it to Seville Santa Justa. From Seville’s main train station, take the C1 or C5 train to Sevilla-Virgen del Rocio, then walk to Estadio Benito Villamarín.

From Paris

From Paris to Seville by train is a journey, but not a hard one. Start at Paris Gare de Lyon, then work your way backwards through the list above: hop trains at Barcelona Sants, then again at Madrid Atocha, and one last time from Seville Santa Justa to Sevilla-Virgen del Rocio, before finally walking to Estadio Benito Villamarín.

From London

Getting from London to the Real Betis stadium in Seville by train is almost identical to getting there from Paris: Paris Gare de Lyon to Barcelona Sants to Madrid Atocha to Seville Santa Justa to Sevilla-Virgen del Rocio then walk to Estadio Benito Villamarín. How do you get from London to Paris by train? It’s easy-peasy, thanks to the Eurostar route from London St Pancras to Paris Gare du Nord; then take the RER train for 15 minutes to Paris Gare de Lyon.

The Real Betis stadium — Estadio Benito Villamarín — is located at Av de Heliópolis, s/n, 41012 Sevilla, Spain. The closest train station to Estadio Benito Villamarín is Sevilla-Virgen del Rocio, which is less than a mile from the Real Betis stadium.

What is the closest airport to Real Betis stadium?

The closest airport to Real Betis stadium (Estadio Benito Villamarín) is Seville Airport (SVQ). Unfortunately, there is no train from Seville Airport into the city — but it’s only 6.5 miles to the city center. You can either take the half-hourly bus service to the city then hop the train, or hire a taxi or take a rideshare to the Real Betis stadium.

Does Seville have a metro system?

Yes, Seville has a single-line metro system — but it might not be useful for visitors in town for a Real Betis Balompié match. The metro is more of a commuter line, not a tourist line, so it might not be a convenient option compared to catching the regular train. The closest metro station to Estadio Benito Villamarín is San Bernardo, which is at the San Bernardo train station; you could take the metro to this station then take the C1 or C5 train one station south to Sevilla-Virgen del Rocio.

How much do Real Betis tickets cost?

Expect to spend at least €30 (about $33) on the cheapest seats available. Tickets for a Real Betis FC match will vary in cost depending on the seat, the opponent, the day of the week, the televised coverage of the match, and if it’s a La Liga, Champions League, Europa League, or Copa del Rey match.
