🇨🇿 Prague, Czechia
🚆 Main train station: Prague Hlavní Nádraží

🚂 Closest station: Prague-Libeň | Českomoravská (Metro) | Arena Libeň jih (Tram)

NHL Global Series upcoming events
The puck drops for the 2024 NHL Global Series on September 27th at the SAP Garden in Munich, Germany, where Ryan McLeod leads the Buffalo Sabres against the Red Bull München.
After the zambonis drive around for a bit, the action picks back up at the O2 Arena in Prague, Czechia, when Jacob Markstrom sits in goal as the New Jersey Devils put up their best shots against Buffalo’s netminder, Ukko-Pekka Luukkonen. The Devils and Sabres will play two games in the City of Spires between October 4th and 5th.
Tampere, Finland, welcomes the reigning Stanley Cup champions for a pair of games against the Dallas Stars. Expect Tyler Seguin and Jamie Benn to bring their best against Matthew Tkachuk and Sergei Bobrovsky; the Stars fell to the Edmonton Oilers in the Western Conference final, losing an opportunity to play the Panthers for the Cup.

How much are NHL Global Series tickets?
Tickets for the NHL Global Series games are now on sale. The games at the O2 Arena in Prague are selling fast with a current minimum price of CZK 5,550.00 — or around $245 — for nosebleed seats that nearly warrant a double-minor. Unless you have a seat in the sin bin, Germany’s face-offs are sold out so keep an eye out for potential resale tickets. Finland’s NHL Global Series games are playing short-handed right now with only a handful of tickets available across the main grandstand and upper gallery.

Are NHL glass seats worth it?
Yes, if you’re someone who likes chirping at players and feeling bodies bang against the boards, then you should see at least one NHL game from a glass seat. But just because the hits on the ice come cheap, doesn’t mean the seats do. These tickets cost more than a 5 minute major. Think of it this way: prices for the best seats during an hour-long game can cost the same price (or more) as a Eurail pass good for a month.

What team has the most expensive tickets in the NHL?
The gambling site, Betway, claims that the Toronto Maple Leafs have an average ticket price of $145.60, giving them the highest average ticket expense. Great news for anyone attending the inaugural season for Salt Lake City’s newest hockey club: tickets start at just $44.

Is the NHL Global Series a regular season?
Yes, four of the NHL Global Series games are part of the 2024/2025 NHL regular season: the two-game series between the Devil and Sabres, as well as the two-game series between the Stars and Panthers. The Sabres/EHC Red Bull Munchen faceoff is considered a NHL Global Series Challenge game and will not impact the NHL regular season (unless, of course, it’s a particularly hard-hitting game). The presale for that match begins on May 7th.
