Usually, the train journey from Paris to Venice takes 13h 42m, but can take 9h 16m on the fastest TGV INOUI and Frecciarossa services. As there are no direct services available, you will need to make at least one change along the way. To travel from Paris to Venice quickly, take a high-speed TGV train from Paris Gare de Lyon station to Torino Porta Susa train. There, you can jump on a connecting Frecciarossa service to Venezia Mestre station.
Although not the fastest mode of transport, travelling by train from Paris to Venice is far more sustainable than flying and a lot more picturesque. Also, once you’ve boarded the train, you can take advantage of the comfortable seats, free WiFi and electrical sockets.
