London, the best city in the UK? Possibly. The best city in Europe? Well, that’s just arrogant, but hey, there’s only one way to find out! The route from London to Antwerp takes you from one bustling city to another, so you can experience cosmopolitan charm done differently. We’re not saying a stay in London with the shopping opportunities of Oxford Street, the dizzying heights of The Shard and the funky vibes of Camden Market isn’t very, very cool, but we are saying this trip could be made even cooler by heading to Antwerp. After all, you’ll get to travel on the Eurostar and the journey is just three and a half hours, so you’ve got no excuse!
Arriving in the centre of the city, Antwerp’s best attractions await, from the famous diamond district (home to the filming locations for Netflix's Rough Diamonds) and The MAS museum, where you can take in fabulous views while learning all about the city. The fashionable area of Zuid is the perfect place to sample yummy local food and in warmer months you’ll find plenty of sunny cafés and restaurant terraces. Take your trip from one city to another by train, just start by checking out our route information below.

Most of the train companies across Europe release their tickets around three to six months in advance, many of which can be cheaper the earlier you book. If you know the dates you want to travel, you may be able to find some cheaper train tickets from London to Antwerp by booking early.§
Many of the train services in Europe are also popular commuter services, lots of train companies increase ticket prices during “peak hours” (generally between 06:00 – 10:00 and 15:00 – 19:00 on weekdays). If you can, consider travelling outside of peak hours to find lower priced tickets.
On some of the busier routes, you might also have the option to take a slower or connecting train. It may take a little longer than some high-speed or direct services, but if you have a little extra time on your hands, you might find a cheaper fare. Plus, you'll have more time to enjoy the view of the countryside!
