Frecciarossa Premium Class (or Livello Premium in Italian) has the same seat layout of Standard Class – 2x2 rows – but offers leather rather than cloth seats. Seats are wide reclining armchairs, each of which has a folding table and power sockets. For travellers’ privacy, every row is separated by a glass divider.

If you want to access the onboard WiFi – which is free – simply connect your device to the FRECCE Entertainment Portal. This way, you can watch movies and TV programmes, listen to music and check travel information.

With a Premium ticket you’ll be welcomed with complimentary snacks and drinks, which will be brought directly to your seat shortly after departure. You can choose between different types of snacks – sweet (Gocciolotti Balocco biscuits), savoury (Terre di Puglia taralli) or Gluten Free (Schär crackers). If you're travelling with children, they'll get the Snack Bimbi, which includes a savoury or sweet snack and a colouring book. As for drinks, you can choose from a range of hot and cold drinks, including water, coffee, hot and cold tea and juice.

In the morning, you'll be welcomed with a selection of free Italian newspapers – this service is also available on weekends.

If you're travelling on a Frecciarossa 1000 train, you can also enjoy the new Easy Gourmet meal service at your seat, which offers three gourmet menu options consisting of a main course, a snack, a dessert and a bottle of water.
