By adding Cancel for Any Reason to your purchase of any eligible fare, you could be covered right up to 15 minutes before departure and get up to 95% of the price refunded, depending on your ticket. So you can plan, replan, and revert the plan with confidence.
The price of Cancel for Any Reason is proportionate to the price of your ticket. But, really, it’s a little fee for a lotta freedom – if that’s what you’re into.
At any point within your ticket’s cancelation window (you can check this by going to My Tickets and selecting Cancel For Any Reason) you can submit your claim in a few easy steps:
Registered bookings: Access to your booking from the My Tickets sections of your Trainline account.
Guest bookings: Access your booking via the Manage Booking button in your confirmation email from Trainline.
Click on Cancel with Cancel for Any Reason
You’ll then receive an email from Companjon confirming the details of your insurance, along with instructions to follow in the event of a claim.
P.s. If your booking includes multiple journeys, you will need to cancel them separately.
